Internship Program Overview
The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or recently graduated, to gain hands‑on work experience that forms the foundation of their professional careers. Interns will gain first‑hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading‑edge technology.
Responsibilities
- Support the review and validation of Field Service Engineer assignment documentation.
- Assist with the collection, tracking, and organization of visa and work permit documentation.
- Conduct analysis of country‑specific immigration and deployment requirements using internal guidelines and processes.
- Coordinate with Global Mobility teams and external immigration service providers to support deployment activities.
- Maintain deployment databases, records, and key performance metrics to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare deployment status reports and updates for internal stakeholders.
- Support operational projects aimed at improving deployment processes and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an international environment to ensure successful deployment execution.
- Learn and utilize internal systems and tools to support daily operations.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to maintain compliance.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Law, Economics, Business Administration, Human Resources, Political Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in international operations, global mobility, compliance, and immigration‑related processes.
- Interest in data analytics, data science, and AI‑powered tools for analysis and process improvement.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to collaborate effectively within a global team.
- Legal eligibility to work in the country of application without company sponsorship or time restrictions.
Benefits
The fixed allowance for this position will range between 600 and 1,000 € gross monthly, determined by criteria related to the candidate’s academic status and their proximity to the workplace.
