We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for Mechanics to join our Headquarter at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO).

You will hierarchically report to the Head of Manufacturing Engineering Mechanics & HV.

You will be responsible to work on and influence the new product from industrial area perspective in the Mechanical components and system, participating in the different phases of car's development. You will also be responsible to set the assembly and test process for Mechanical components and systems.

Your main activities will be:

  • Evaluation and influence of product assembly concepts and solutions, by working closer to the R&D Dept. during product development, focus on mechanical/HV components.
  • Participation to cross-functional meetings (SET) to align assembly and functional demands to emerging development/modification issues.
  • Apply design for assembly and design for manufacturing principle during development phase of the project.
  • Guarantee optimal field quality
  • Respect economic goals.
  • Evaluate and influence the product design to steer assembly concepts and test processes, by working closer to the R&D during product development.
  • Design and plan the production & test process by ensuring consistency with budget and timing
  • Design and plan the production & test tools by ensuring consistency with budget and timing
  • Plan, implement, set up and optimize the screwing system, and mechanical component related equipment.
  • Use problem solving skill to manage complaints in Pre-Series vehicle.

Product perimeter of activities:

  • Mechanical system and components in SSC (new models and lifecycle)
  • Tightening system

Process perimeter of activities:

  • Assembly equipment for mechanical system and components in SSC
  • Test equipment for mechanical system and components in SSC
  • Screwdriver system

About you

  • University degree in technical engineering or comparable
  • At least 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering Processes
  • CAD management as a plus
  • Fluent English, Italian and German will be considered a plus
