This role is with a well-known, structured company specializing in designing, manufacturing, and marketing solutions for critical applications and renewable energy sectors. We are seeking an Industrialization, Lean & Costing Manager.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will report directly to the Plant Director and coordinate with the Group's Industrialization, Lean & Costing Director. Responsibilities include managing the ILC department, ensuring product industrialization in line with global strategy, and overseeing the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for products manufactured at the Italian plant. The role involves coordinating with local and group entities to ensure the economic performance of industrialization programs.

  • Ensure product localization across group plants.
  • Support the Plant Manager by defining and implementing the industrial strategy validated by the group.
  • Develop team know-how, ensure safety standards, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Ensure annual standard cost calculations are accurate.
  • Monitor cost evolution and implement actions to meet financial targets.
  • Contribute to annual planning and budgeting, including investments.
  • Improve existing offer performance through cost reduction actions like localization, VAVE, new suppliers, etc.
Your Profile

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in industrial processes, preferably in electronics/mechatronics.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Solid experience in automation in high variability/low volume environments.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with focus on Design to Manufacture, Automate, Localize, Test & Cost.
  • Good knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Familiarity with industrialization techniques and specifications.
  • Analytical approach and focus on effectiveness.
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and team motivation skills.
  • Presence on the shop floor (Genba).

Possession of a Master in Lean Management is a plus.
