Job Description Summary

GE Grid Solutions, part of its Power Transmission Business Line (PT), seeks a Bushings Product Sales Specialist to join a leading company offering a unique range of AC and HVDC Bushings for transformers, generators, and substation applications.

This role involves joining the Bushings Sales Specialists team to cover sales in China and Asia. Responsibilities include business development, technical prescription, coordination with tendering, product qualification, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The individual will develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with the local sales team to meet quarterly and yearly targets, reporting to the Bushings Global Sales Leader.

We seek a dynamic, sales-oriented candidate with a technical background. Experience in APAC sales is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive sales activities within the region to meet order and margin targets.
  2. Monitor competitor product portfolios.
  3. Engage regularly with customers alongside Account Managers and local sales teams.
  4. Propose and deploy market strategies, adjusting based on customer and internal feedback.
  5. Assess project complexity, develop technical and commercial offers, and lead tender processes.
  6. Negotiate contract terms and lead clarification and closing processes.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (Electrical or Management preferred).
  • Technical knowledge of Bushings, substations, or transformers is highly valued.
  • Experience in sales, tendering, or commercial environments within multinational companies.
  • Understanding of electrical transmission business in the APAC region is advantageous.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel.
