Job Overview

Within the area of Large Credit Underwriting, the position will provide the opportunity to a highly motivated and very experienced colleague to be part of a skilled team which is the sole CRO Group Center of Competence for all Structured Finance-Special Products Transactions of UniCredit Group.

Responsibilities
  1. Analysis of new and existing SF/SP transactions in close cooperation with business units and other internal units including:
    1. Analysis of portfolio and performance data (including modelling if appropriate);
    2. Analysis of transaction structure and involved parties from a risk point of view (including due diligence and other customer visits/presentations as appropriate for risk management).
  2. Preparation of credit requests and presentation to the respective approval authority in accordance with assigned personal credit approval authority reflecting the senior character of the position.
  3. Setting of internal ratings and ensuring their ongoing accuracy by applying applicable rating methodologies.
  4. Implementation/verification of transaction approval terms and conditions in legal documentation.
  5. Authorization of credit facilities and relevant data input in the bank's systems and subsequent monitoring.
  6. Monitoring of transaction performance and compliance on an ongoing basis as well as management of assigned portfolio within portfolio guidelines and strategy.
Qualifications
  1. Profound and throughout the cycle senior securitisation product and risk analysis expertise.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and analyse complex financial structures and discuss corresponding models and documentation.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills – work well and cooperate with others (team player).
  4. Ability to work independently and efficiently as well as to form and express own views.
  5. Languages: Fluent English and Italian, orally and in writing. German beneficial but not a must.
  6. IT Skills: MS Office with profound Excel/PowerBI knowledge, Intex.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Be able to successfully exchange (oral or written form) information, ideas, opinions, or other types of messages between two or more people, resulting in mutual understanding, according to the Company guidelines.
  2. Analyze consistency between Group and local Risk Appetite.
  3. Evaluate consistency between Risk Appetite and budget submission (both at Group and Local level).
  4. Monitor and report to Competent Bodies.
  5. Update/review potential Risk Appetite.
Work Environment
