Mathematics & Physics Teacher

EIS Versilia – International School is seeking a highly qualified, enthusiastic and motivated Mathematics & Physics Teacher to join our High School teaching team.

We are looking for an innovative educator with a strong academic background, excellent English language proficiency, and a passion for integrating technology, programming and coding into teaching and learning.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related field, with qualifications suitable for teaching at High School level.
• Previous teaching experience in Mathematics and Physics at secondary/high school level.
• English proficiency at C1 level or above (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of programming and coding, preferably including Python or similar programming languages.
• Ability to integrate digital technologies and innovative teaching methodologies into the classroom.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural educational environment.

Desirable Qualifications

• Previous experience in international or bilingual schools.
• Knowledge of STEM/STEAM educational approaches.
• Experience teaching coding, computational thinking and computer science.
• Familiarity with project-based learning and interdisciplinary teaching.
• Passion for educational innovation and student‑centred learning.
