Product Engineering OfficerApply---Milano, Lombardia, ItalyHybridSalary from toReference 26000LOMStart date 2027/01/01Publication date 2026/10/16## ResponsibilitiesThe Product Engineering Office is responsible for the design, development and implementation of products, solutions and services supporting SGSS business development objectives. As part of the Commercial Department, the Office works in close collaboration with the Commercial and Marketing teams to support SGSS Italy business development, identify client and market needs, and translate them into client-focused solutions. It also partners with Operations and IT teams to design and implement scalable, efficient and compliant products, services and operating models, addressing complex client requirements and contributing to the continuous enhancement of SGSS’s service offering.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Product Engineering team and support the delivery of new products, solutions and services throughout their lifecycle, from analysis and design to implementation and client onboarding.

Key responsibilities
include:
* Supporting product and solution development projects;
* Gathering and documenting business requirements;
* Assisting in feasibility studies with Operations, IT, Risk and Compliance teams;
* Contributing to the design of operational solutions and target operating models;
* Preparing documentation for governance committees and project follow-up;
* Supporting the preparation of onboarding documentation, KPIs and SLAs;
* Maintaining product documentation and service descriptions;
* Assisting with implementation activities and client onboarding;
* Participating in client requests, RFP responses and commercial initiatives when required.
In addition, the candidate will support transversal Product Engineering Office activities, including budget monitoring, pricing database maintenance, internal benchmarking and the preparation of management dashboards.A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. The VIE assignment in a nutshellThis VIE in Milan is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
