About The Job

For our Supply Chain division in Milan we are looking for a VIE for our Demand Planning Team.

During your experience you’ll be part of a young and dynamic team, you’ll get in touch with all company’s departments and you’ll contribute to the achievements of your team.

Your Role

You’ll collaborate with several company’s departments to develop your analytical skills and to discover competitive dynamics of dairy & ambient products’ market. You’ll support the Demand Planning team on day by day activities and projects.

In details, you'll be accountable to:

• Preparing short- and long-term forecast based on historical data and input from top line team (sales, mktg, category)
• Managing forecast activities using IBP the tool (masterdata, promo event, phase-in/phase-out product). Analyzing the output of the tool to identify the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm
• Assuring high level of forecast accuracy to balance between zero wastes and high customer service level
• Interfacing with supply planning dept to anticipate issue/change in forecasting trend that can affect the service and waste performance
• Preparing and animating all the reporting of the demand planning team, to support daily activities
• Collaborating with financial dept to support the GPS process
• Analyze data, look for insights, fuel the TopLine team with growth generating ideas

About You

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role, we believe you need to have:

• Master’s degree in Economics or Management Engineering or similar;
• Problem solving and entrepreneurial thinking;
• Structured and analytical way of working;
• Relational skills and flexibility;
• SAP Knowledge will be a plus
• Excel and Power Point knowledge;
• Fluent in English and ideally in Italian

Are You Eligible for a V.I.E.?

The V.I.E. (International Corporate Volunteer Program) is a scheme managed by Business France that enables European citizens to work internationally on behalf of a company. The contract duration ranges from 6 to 24 months.

To be eligible, you must:

- Be between 18 and 28 years old.

What Are the Contractual Benefits of a V.I.E.?

• Business France manages all administrative aspects of the volunteer's contract.
• Business France also provides comprehensive social coverage, including health insurance, maternity, disability, and workplace accident coverage.
• No income tax or social security contributions are deducted from the allowance. However, the V.I.E. program does not provide unemployment benefits or pension contributions.
• You are entitled to 2.5 days of paid leave per month.
• Your monthly allowance is determined according to the compensation scale established by Business France.
