Propulsion Test Engineer, Electronics (AIT)
Sidereus Space Dynamics is pioneering reusable single-stage launch vehicles for rapid orbital access. We are seeking a Propulsion Electronics Test Engineer to design and commission new test benches, code and operate the DAQ system, handle cabling and connectors, and participate in engine testing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software for the DAQ system and operate its dashboard during tests.
- Select appropriate sensors, actuators, and valves for specific tests.
- Manage all necessary cabling and connectors.
- Code the tests' sequences.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in electronics testing.
- Proficiency in LabView and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C, or C++.
- Basic understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and propulsion systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in technical English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with pressure-fed and pump-fed propulsion systems.
- Familiarity with pipeline design, valves, sensors, and P&IDs.
- Experience in propulsion test campaigns, including hot and cold flow testing.
- Background in safety-critical environments.
- Proficiency in data analysis acquisition, and technical report writing.
What We Offer:
- Salary range: €30,000 - €55,000, based on qualifications and experience.
