The opportunity (Role summary)
As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a vital role in managing and enhancing products related to data semantics and general data governance. Your influence will extend across cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, and product management. This role is primarily on-site, offering an immersive environment to collaborate closely with colleagues and drive impactful projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and refinement of semantic data products to enhance data understanding and accessibility.
- Partner with technical teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective product strategies.
- Deliver clear, prioritized product backlogs and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback and emerging industry best practices.
- Analyze data requirements and ensure accurate, comprehensive data representations for various projects.
- Maintain close communication with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure project alignment and deliverables.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in product management or ownership within a data-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of data semantics, ontology management, or related fields.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with an ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with data management tools, databases, or semantic technologies.
- Relevant experience working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams in an on-site setting.
