Main Work Target
- Be responsible for the management of national and regional market access of propofol and ticagrelor (together with a local service provider), as well as tendering and bidding management in 20 regions (together with a local service provider).
- Be responsible for the establishment and management of the local supply chain system in Italy (together with a local service provider): 3PL logistics, warehousing, orders, bidding and tendering, order and supply, cash collection etc.
- Be responsible for the comprehensive management of the Italian subsidiary in terms of administration, finance and taxation, compliance and other aspects.
- Be responsible for the marketing planning of 9 biosimilar drugs in the future, the formulation and optimization of specific launch plans, sales forecasting, the conception of sales organizational structure, and the accumulation of resources, maintain a good relationship with local stakeholders etc.
- Be responsible for the promotion of the Kexing brand, as well as the development and accumulation of local government and industry resources and connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Access Tender Management - Lead and coordinate market access activities to support product availability and reimbursement. - Participate in and support negotiations with national and regional payers. - Coordinate and manage participation in public tenders. - Monitor policy, pricing, reimbursement, and procurement developments. - Develop strong relationships with healthcare authorities and decision‑makers.
- Supply Chain Operational Support - Support end-to-end supply chain decision‑making and operational execution. - Support logistics strategy and operational planning. - Contribute to demand forecasting and inventory planning activities. - Support order‑to‑cash processes and ensure operational excellence.
- Commercial Leadership - Assess market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and customer needs within the Italian market. - Develop recommendations on launch sequencing and prioritization across the product portfolio. - Support the development and execution of local commercial strategies. - Act as the primary local representative and spokesperson for Kexing Biopharm with key stakeholders. - Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, healthcare providers, and industry stakeholders.
- Business Development Cross-Functional Leadership - Work closely with regional and global teams to ensure alignment of local activities. - Identify opportunities to strengthen Kexing Biopharm’s market presence and commercial performance. - Support business planning and provide regular market intelligence and business updates. - Contribute to the development of local infrastructure and capabilities as the business grows.
Candidate Profile
- Experience - Significant experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industries. - Proven leadership experience within Market Access, Commercial, Marketing, or General Management functions. - Experience managing teams and leading cross‑functional initiatives. - Strong understanding of biosimilars and/or generic medicines markets. - Experience within originator pharmaceutical companies is also highly relevant, particularly where lifecycle management involved competition from biosimilars or generics. - Demonstrated experience working with healthcare authorities, payers, and tender systems.
