Job Description Summary

At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

As Safety & Quality Management System Specialist you will work within Safety & Quality Organization and you will be a member of the Policy Management System Team. You will work on activities that affect the Company Certifications according to Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defence Organizations.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and ensure the compliance with the mandatory and Customer requirements defining the connected procedures.
  • Define documents and implement standardized processes across the organization to improve efficiency and ensure consistency.
  • Be the focal point within Management System for Standard Rules, such as EN 9100 / 9110 / AQAP 2310 / PART 145 / EMAR145 / Part 21G as applicable. You will also collaborate with all the functions involved.
  • Maintain up-dated and review the GE Avio Manuals and Procedures, in collaboration with GE Aerospace.
  • Review the internal GE Avio processes to be compliant with the Avio Aero Manuals and, if needed, manage the changes to the processes, Manuals and Procedures, as required.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Economics or similar field.
  • Experience in Safety & Quality Management System.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Good knowledge of Office applications.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving ability.
  • Strong relationship & leadership skills: able to influence, motivate and work effectively within a matrix environment.
  • Be proactive proposing solutions when problem is detected.
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required.

  • Experience in Aerospace & Defence.
  • Available for short term business trips.
