Position Overview:

This role reports to the Supply Quality Manager and contributes to the Electrification – Smart Building Division, based in Santa Palomba (RM). You will be responsible for:

  • Defining quality requirements, quality gates, and process control plans.
  • Designing quality tools for incoming inspections.
  • Establishing quality procedures and conducting quality training.
  • Supporting safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity improvements within the value chain to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Leading quality operations for a specific product family, focusing on process and product improvements.
  • Managing non-conformity issues, including conducting root cause analysis (RCA) using DMAIC methodology.
  • Managing quality data and metrics according to ABB standards.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and software (e.g., Minitab). Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Innovative mindset with a willingness to bring ideas and passion for continuous improvement.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
