Job Title: Family Advocacy Prevention Education Coordinator

Location: Camp Darby, Italy
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

GD Resources LLC is seeking a qualified Family Advocacy Prevention Education Coordinator to support the Army Community Service Family Advocacy Program at Camp Darby, Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training on child abuse prevention, domestic violence awareness, parenting, stress and anger management, and healthy relationships.

  • Coordinate FAP briefings, classes, community events, and outreach activities.

  • Develop and distribute approved program marketing materials.

  • Maintain training records, attendance logs, unit databases, and monthly reports.

  • Enter program participation data into Government tracking systems.

  • Support Family Advocacy meetings and prepare agendas and meeting minutes.

  • Coordinate educational referrals with the FAP Manager and appropriate service providers.

  • Report suspected child abuse, neglect, or domestic violence in accordance with Army requirements.

  • Protect confidential and personally identifiable information.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social science, behavioral health, psychology, counseling, social work, health education, community health, public health, or a related field.

  • At least one year of relevant experience in family and children's services, community programs, and family violence prevention.

  • Strong teaching, presentation, interviewing, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems.

  • Professional working proficiency in English.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances, installation access, CAC, and DOCPER/SOFA accreditation.

  • Familiarity with military communities or Family Advocacy programs is preferred.

Occasional approved evening or weekend support may be required. This is a non-clinical position and does not provide counseling services.
