Quality Inspector (Construction / Civils / Groundworks)

Milan, Italy – Full-Time

Are you a Quality Inspector with experience in construction, civils or groundworks, confident preparing and implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), looking for an opportunity in Milan with accommodation and a company vehicle provided?

This company is a specialist civils and groundworks contractor delivering concrete, rebar and structural works for clients across the power, industrial, commercial and residential sectors. Due to continued growth and expansion into Europe, including projects in Italy and Portugal, they are looking to strengthen their quality team.

In this role, you will prepare, manage and implement ITPs, carrying out site inspections to ensure works meet project specifications, approved drawings and quality requirements. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors and client representatives to coordinate inspections, record results and resolve quality issues.

Based full-time in Milan, you will receive accommodation and a company vehicle, with European travel fully expensed. You must have the right to live and work in Italy without requiring visa sponsorship.

This role would suit a Quality Inspector or QA/QC Inspector with a construction, civils or groundworks background who is confident producing ITPs and maintaining quality standards on site.

The Role:

  • Prepare, review and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for civils, groundworks, concrete and structural works

  • Carry out inspections against approved drawings, specifications and agreed acceptance criteria

  • Coordinate inspection hold points and witness points with site teams and client representatives

  • Check material certification and maintain inspection reports, test records and quality documentation

  • Raise non-conformance reports and follow corrective actions through to completion

  • Compile quality records and support project handover documentation

  • Work full-time in Milan, with European travel as required

The Person:

  • Quality inspection or QA/QC experience within construction, civils or groundworks

  • Confident preparing and implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)

  • Right to live and work in Italy without visa sponsorship
