Offer Description
The research activity focuses on the development and validation of simulation models to analyse the dynamic behaviour of wind turbines, with particular emphasis on floating wind turbines. The models will support the control of both individual turbines and the entire wind farm, with the aim of improving overall productivity.
The research will also include the modelling of environmental loads, such as wind and wave fields, and their interaction with energy-generation systems. The models will be validated by comparison with experimental results obtained from wind-tunnel campaigns using scaled models.
The selected candidate will also be involved in teaching and laboratory activities in Applied Mechanics for Machines, with particular reference to machine dynamics, wind energy, and the control of mechanical systems.
Oral test aimed at ascertaining candidates’ aptitude and suitability to carry out the activity covered by the contract, as well as at assessing their knowledge of English and/or other languages relevant to the activities to be performed (up to 35 points)
