Payroll & Personnel Administration Specialist

With more than 60 years of experience and a leading position in the wood adhesives industry, Durante Adesivi is an Italian company and part of the Belgian multinational Soudal Group, continuously innovating with a forward-looking approach while successfully operating in additional market sectors.

To strengthen our Human Resources function, we are looking for a Payroll & Personnel Administration Specialist, a key role responsible for ensuring the accurate administration of personnel processes and effective coordination with labour consultants, external and internal stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for payroll administration and personnel management activities, ensuring compliance with labour regulations and company procedures.

You will:

  • Manage the monthly time and attendance process through dedicated HR systems and ensure data accuracy and reconciliation;
  • Prepare and submit all payroll-related data to the external labour consultant;
  • Review payroll reports, payslips and supporting documentation to ensure correctness and compliance;
  • Manage employees lifecycle administration, including hirings, contractual changes, salary updates and terminations;
  • Support salaries payment processing and related accounting activities;
  • Administer pension funds, supplementary healthcare schemes, trade union deductions and salary-backed loans;
  • Support personnel costs accounting and reconciliation activities;
  • Monitor workforce data and prepare HR reports and statistics;
  • Manage administrative relationships with temporary employment agencies and contingent workers;
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR requirements related to employees data management;
  • Coordinate international business travel administration and related insurance coverage requirements;
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and employees management activities;
  • Liaise with labour consultants, auditors, social security institutions and employers’ associations;
  • Support annual HR and payroll activities, including personnel budget preparation, tax certifications, statutory declarations, insurance requirements and year-end closing activities.

Requirements

Education

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Law or a related field;
  • Additional qualifications in Payroll Administration, Labour Law or Personnel Management are considered a plus.

Professional Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in payroll administration and personnel management;
  • Solid knowledge of Italian labour law, payroll processes and social security regulations;
  • Experience working with external payroll providers and labour consultants;
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment would be advantageous;
  • Good knowledge of HR systems, time and attendance software, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Permanent employment contract under the Italian Chemical Industry Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Chimica Industria) including an initial probation period as provided for by the applicable collective agreement
