Your role & mission Directly reporting to the Engineering Manager based in Italy, the PIEL product Engineering Leader will represent the first point of contact for all needs related to the development of our product soto continuously improve its industrial maturation in terms of reliability, performance and cost control, through structured site issue resolution practices and improvements in process, hardware and software feedback for product improvement purposes. The resolution of the product issues, in collaboration with all the PIEL product line support functions, shall also be supported by means of remote diagnostic systems.

The role will be collecting the relevant information for the correct functioning and improvement of the product, and working to coordinate the resources and know-how available in order to guarantee a timely and effective updating of the technical-design part, so as to make the product responsive to customer and market needs. The responsibilities of our product engineer include interaction activities with the following departments: Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, Manufacturing.

Product comprehension and analysis

Failure analysis

Technical product management

Acquisition & elaboration of Maintenance & Operational data

Feedback to ENG through data & information for product performance monitoring and improvements

Management of product and cost reduction

Product updates Bill of material drafting

Product certification and Standardidation

Introduction of digital tools for services

Introduction of tech & operational upgrades

Your profile

Master's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanics, Chemistry, Aerospace)

Italian and English language fluency is mandatory, French language is also considered a plus.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the sector, preferably in manufacturing, experience in maintenance, technology or programs is also considered a plus.

Knowledge of technical standards related to the sector.

Proficiency in PC use, Office or equivalent suites, major technical design software, programming language proficiency is a plus.

Remuneration: 35.-40. gross yearly salary

MBO: 10% of yearly gross retribution
