In line with team strengthening, we are looking for a: Utilities Process Engineer. The resource will be inserted into the Team of a major multinational company operating in the Oil & Gas sector and will be responsible for the following activities:

Development of thermal and material balances using simulation software;

Development of process flow diagrams to show the unit operations necessary to convert raw materials into specified products;

Definition and sizing of equipment and instrumentation to be implemented and issuance of the related process data sheets and service specifications of the package;

Development of piping and instrumentation diagrams;

Development of the cause and effect matrix;

Development of control narratives and logical sequences for assigned systems;

Execution of hydraulic and thermal calculations on pipeline systems in steady-state and transient conditions;

Definition of utility requirements and design of associated systems;

Definition of chemical substances and catalysts for assigned systems and their synthesis;

Definition of quantities and characteristics of effluents to be disposed of in the environment;

Support for the preparation of the operating manual and test procedures;

Implementation of contractual design philosophy;

Quality control of technical calculations, software simulations, and results produced according to the quality system;

Review of multidisciplinary projects.

Business Industry Energy

Profile The ideal candidate has a degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the role. Good problem-solving and teamwork skills are required, as well as autonomy in organizing assigned tasks and a results-oriented approach.

Requirements The following skills are required:

Prior experience in flare systems, steam and condensate systems, water treatment, combustion, water cooling systems, steam turbines, and gas turbine units;

Knowledge of international engineering codes and standards;

Prior experience in process design for the petrochemical/Oil & Gas industry and/or green technologies;

Excellent knowledge of the English language.
