With a worldwide presence, SG employs more than 5.600 people who share a commitment to customer satisfaction and patient well-being.Your key accountabilities You will:directly manage the assigned Cap Ex Procurement Categories (i.e. plant, equipment, infrastructures, buildings, maintenance activities, engineering & technical consultancies, …) related to our workshops' revamping or new investments, in accordance with SG's targets and guidelines in terms of cost, time, quality and sustainability.Plan, direct and manage procurement activities (including sourcing strategy, request for quotation, bid review, supplier negotiation & awarding) to get the results delivered.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on sourcing options and best practices.Manage suppliers' relationships, including regular performance evaluations and claims resolution.Coordination of the contractual project milestones and deliverables, to meet SG's targets.Conduct global suppliers' scouting activities, according to SG's guidelines.Analyze and negotiate suppliers' contracts.Be part of improvement projects, bringing fresh ideas to enhance SG's procurement background.Your backgroundA technical education: degree in Engineering or Business Economics.5 years of experience in a similar role in a well-structured engineering company or engineering-to-order manufacturing company.Fluent in Italian and English.Strong communication skills: excellent negotiating and influencing skills.A team player attitude: good at building positive relationships with internal and external peers. Analytical, strategic thinker, result and action-oriented, decision taker.Excellent knowledge of MS Office package. A proven record in supplier management and negotiation is a must.A fresh perspective: proactivity, creativity and enthusiasm are a must.
