Lead Architect

Purpose of the positionLead Architect is responsible for modeling and organizing the next generation software for Retailer on the petrol market. You are responsible to dictate software architectures, coding standards and choose optimal technologies /tools / frameworks supporting the software developments in line with CTO indications. Lead Architect must also translate Product management ideas into technical tasks for the development team influencing tec side of the customers to adopt our choices.Key Responsibilities·

Interact with clients, product managers, and Innovation team to model and design the next generation software. Sharing the product vision and the technical directions to the developers·

Influence tec side of the customer ·

Perform regular code reviews to ensure the design quality·

Help the development team and enhance their knowledge·

Support / Coach the development team·

Reduce tec debt of the existing products·

Participate to the governance committee that assure the convergence of the product to the defined architectureKnowledge, Skills and Experience·

Overall consistent industry experience·

Solid experience in Architecture role·

Designing, implementing, and supporting fully automated Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) processes using DevOps tools like GitHub to create automated CI/CD pipelines.·

Good expertise in Cloud Computing Technologies especially in AWS Cloud services, covering wide range of services in Networking, Security, Compute, Database, Storage, Monitoring, Serverless etc.·

Good knowledge of big data handling / monitoring ecosystem and different frameworks inside it – (like Kafka and Kibana)·

Good knowledge of C#, C++ and .NET Framework·

Experience with microservices, ·

Past experience on how to convert a monolith into a set of valuable microservices

Bachelors/Masters in Engineering in computer science ·

Fluent in English ·

Excellent communication skills·
