A remote Mechanical Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time direct job with benefits. Great matching candidates will have at least two years' experience in Quality Nonconformance or Manufacturing and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. You will be working closely with the aerospace component development process relating to gas turbine engines.
Job Duties: * Use SAP to retrieve Quality Nonconformance information of manufactured parts. * Review Nonconformance of parts. * Review print requirements. * Perform geometric tolerance studies. * Perform structural analysis hand calculations. * Look up and review prior history of Nonconformance. * Create disposition package of QN and give recommendation. * Peer review of disposition packages prior to submittal to customer. * Close out of package and tasks in SAP.
Requirements: * Two or more years of experience in Quality Nonconformance or Manufacturing. * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. * Proficiency in technical documentation and print reading as well as GD&T. * Gas turbine engine experience. * Ability to work within an integrated product development team. * Strong interpersonal skills. * US Citizen required due to nature of work.
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $75,000 to $ 114,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
