You will join our Environment and Health Department in Milan or Rome As our new HSE Junior consultant you will be part of our successful team composed by engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc. working together in an international network for a variety of projects regarding mainly contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk and sustainability. You will contribute to a sustainable future in an open, collaborative and empowering culture. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: Execution of Environmental and/or Health and Safety Due Diligence; Execution of ESG review; Execution of EHS compliance audits; Taking direct part in the assignments, with direct interaction with Clients and third parties (e.g. lawyers, advisors, vendor/buyer, regulators) and implies strong soft skills (e.g. negotiation, communication, strategic vision) and capabilities in problem-solving and teamwork Proposal and reporting in Italian or English language. For this role, we believe your starting point is: Candidates should have a Master level university degree in environmental science, earth sciences, environmental engineering or similar; Minimum 2/3 years of relevant experience in EHS Compliance, Transaction and Corporate Services in as a broad area, with specific focus on due diligence work in the M&A sector and Health & Safety and Environmental Compliance; Knowledge and familiarity with D. Lgs 152/2006 and D. Lgs. 81/2008, ASTM standards; Fluent (mother tongue level) Italian language; Knowledge of the decommissioning, REACH and CLP regulation is a plus; Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English; a third language (e.g. German, Spanish, French) is a plus. Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: highly organized and able to work efficiently and effectively to deadlines on designated tasks; demonstrate attention to detail and a high level of accuracy academic rigor; self-motivated, reliable and dedicated individual.
