The Senior Manager of Cyber Security will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cyber security strategy to protect the Organisation’s data, systems, networks, and other assets from unauthorised access. This position will also lead efforts to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to information security. Responsibilities:

Develops and implement an enterprise-wide cyber security strategy that meets all legal requirements as well as industry best practices. Monitors emerging threats in order to identify potential vulnerabilities in the Organisation’s systems or networks. Establishes policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and controls for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, availability of all organisational data assets. Oversees incident response activities including investigation of incidents; containment; eradication; recovery; reporting; follow up actions; root cause analysis etc. Manages third party vendors providing cyber security services such as penetration testing or vulnerability assessments. Leads risk assessment initiatives by identifying risks associated with new technologies or processes prior to implementation within the Organisation's environment. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to information security (e.g., GDPR). Creates reports on cyber security metrics such as number of incidents detected/resolved etc., for senior management review on a regular basis. Stays abreast of current trends in cybersecurity technology and recommend solutions that can improve overall system protection levels. Explore more InfoSec / Cybersecurity career opportunities
