For this reason, we need the best talents to walk alongside us, supporting together this process of continuous evolution.We are looking for a Quality Engineer to be included in the Product Quality Department, in charge of quality activities at the Supplier & Incoming Quality department in Calcinate.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Carrying out testing and verification activities of the main characteristics of products manufactured by Gewiss and of semi-finished products purchased by Gewiss.- Developing test plans for products and semi-finished products by analysing the technical documentation and their operation, optimising test procedures, also carrying out design activities for the instrumentation used for functional tests. - Managing support activities with suppliers, for problems in the technical/managerial sphere and for continuous awareness-raising related to the criticality of Gewiss products to ensure compliance with technical/quality requirements.- Carrying out verification and analysis activities in the metrological field - Collaborate closely with other company functions in the activity of failure analysis of market or internal problems to ensure timely solutions and prevention plansDevelopment plan following the induction period:- Development and growth in the management of projects involving external suppliers related to the product life cycle (APQP).- Development and growth in the total management of suppliers through System Audits and Product Audits to ensure the conformity of their procedures and processes.- Development and growth in activities aimed at continuous improvement of both process and product.REQUIREMENTS- Degree in Engineering in a technical field- 2/3 years' experience in a similar role (Quality Control, Supplier Quality).- Knowledge of technical drawing. Knowledge of design software for technical drawing will be considered an advantage.- Knowledge of industrial processes (e.g. metalworking / galvanising / painting / foundries). Knowledge of further industrial processes such as injection moulding and/or Electronics / Electrotechnics will be considered an advantage.- Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation for component analysis in the metrological field- Knowledge of quality control and management processes and methodologies (SPC, 8D, PPAP, Audit, Control Plans)- Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken. - Goal-oriented and problem-solving approach. - Positive spirit, proactivity, teamwork, responsiveness and personality - Following the induction and development period, availability to travel (also abroad) for a limited period (max. 7 days)In Gewiss, you will find:
