Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing large-scale solar and BESS projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully managing complex energy projects, possesses excellent leadership and communication skills, and thrives in a fast – paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities Project Planning and Initiation Lead the development of project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines for large-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements. Project Execution and Monitoring Oversee the execution of solar and BESS projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion. Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities. Communicate project status, milestones, and potential issues to relevant parties in a clear and timely manner. Budget and Resource Management Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency and minimize delays. Quality Assurance and Compliance Implement quality assurance processes to ensure solar and BESS projects meet industry standards and regulations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements throughout project execution. Team Leadership and Development Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-performance levels. Facilitate professional development opportunities for team members. Client/Partner/Investor Satisfaction Work closely with clients to understand their expectations and ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed their requirements. Address client concerns promptly and effectively. Reporting and Documentation Prepare regular project status reports, detailing progress, challenges, and key milestones. Maintain accurate project documentation for internal and external reporting purposes. Your Profile Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Proven leadership experience in development and management. Proven experience managing large-scale solar and BESS projects from inception to completion. Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. In-depth knowledge of solar energy technologies, engineering principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills. Analytical mindset, adept at market analysis and data-driven decision making. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, results-oriented environment. Romanian native, English language at an advance level. Driving license and willingness to travel throughout Romania and abroad.
