We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bologna, ItalyThis position is in charge to design the mechanical parts of the products. Make the 3D-Model Based Design CAD drawings with CREO MCAD. In conjunction with the electrical team, design the electrical connections using power cables and/or copper bus bars. Provide good technical documentation both at the component, and at the System level. Support the assembly team during the manufacturing of the prototypes. Work with Manufacturing Engineer to analyze the product cost to evaluate cost optimization actions. Evaluate alternative components and solutions that eventually can be adopted during the life of the products. Support the regular production in case of issues occurred during the tests of the products.What kind of work will you be doing?Design and industrialization of the products using the 3D MCAD.Coordinate the activities and provide the necessary documentation to start the CO processes.Cooperate with the other engineering functions during the definition of the product specification.Produce technical documentation in line with the process requirements such as drawings, component specification.Support the manufacturing team for the resolution of the problems in during the manufacturing process.What will make you successful?Excellent planning, organizational, documentation, and communication skills are required.Good knowledge of 3D/2D/ Model Base Design CAD (SW knowledge: PTC Creo 6 or newer strongly preferred, additional knowledge of Solid Edge is a plus)Good team working attitude and communication skills. Capability of writing professional technical documentation in EnglishCustomer oriented and availability to travel.
