now for the position of Professional Buyer within the Italian Strategic
Procurement organization, working for both in-Vivo and in-Vitro business,
reporting to the Procurement Leader Italy. The
Professional Buyer is responsible for steering the Procurement process related
to internal customer requests. He/she is responsible for the management,
optimization and follow-up of purchasing documentation managed by the
purchasing department.Your role:You will collaborate with the Procurement team under the direction
of the Procurement Leader Italy to optimize processes, create and maintain
productivity, and pursue sustained cost optimization. Contribute to developing
specifications, manage the call for tenders, and conduct negotiations to secure
the best deals.You will maintain and develop partnerships with preferential
suppliers, scout for potential suppliers, and identify new partners for
sustainable and profitable relationships. Analyze commercial offers, prepare
and conduct negotiations, and manage contracting with selected suppliers.You will interface with Cross-Functional Teams to develop and
implement purchasing strategies, as well as manage strategic purchasing
projects (both direct and indirect) involving local stakeholders.You will align purchasing strategies with corporate objectives by
collaborating with Procurement colleagues in other countries and commodity
managers at HQ. Handle escalated complaints and disputes and ensure compliance
with negotiated contractual conditions and legal frameworks.You will secure contracts with main suppliers, approve purchase
orders, renew and update contracts, and generate cost savings or optimization
measures.You will manage the procurement process from supplier selection to
contracting, ensuring proper implementation. Evaluate suppliers with the
quality department, address insufficient evaluations, and ensure compliance of
suppliers.Your expertise:You are
currently working in a complex organization in a Procurement role, with at
least 3+ years of experience in supplier relationship management, negotiation,
contract management, and data analytics (experience in healthcare or similar
sectors is considered a plus).You are
equipped with excellent interpersonal skills and are not afraid to interact
with colleagues or external parties, making you an excellent negotiator,
capable of managing relational and contractual aspects with involved parties.You are
proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, and you also have
experience with ERP systems like SAP. Additionally, knowledge of Power Apps and
Power Automate is considered a plus.You are
detail-oriented, enjoy working with numbers, and can analyze and synthesize
data to make it accessible and easily usable.You are
fluent in both written and spoken Italian and English.You have an
academic background in Procurement, Finance, Economics, Engineering or Law and
are open to change, resilient, and eager to learn.To find out
