The Legal Coordinator works with the Project Management on all legal aspects of the Expansion project. This ranges from review (contracts, formal communication, etc.), manage public procedures (permit applications, establishing cooperation, etc.) to solving specific legal questions with outsourced legal teams. What you can expect

Provide guidance to the Project Management on all legal matters

Actively inform of existing and changing legal opportunities & requirements

Review written documentation with legal nature

Draft letters, contracts, etc. for the Expansion and maintain these

Deep-dive into specific public procedures and support the public processes

Coordinate and liaise with outsourced legal teams

Manage the set-up and continuation of critical/public contracts

Be the contact point for all legal topics for the Expansion

Collaborate closely with the Project Management to ensure consistency in our formal communication

Support where required the Project Management

What you bring to the table We’re looking for an accurate and process minded individual who can engage & coordinate with the different project stakeholders both internal and external. The person would have a high sense of responsibility, ethics and a superb communicator. The person can own and track individually high responsibility (legal) sub-projects within the Expansion.

Outstanding English and Italian (German is a plus)

Experience (3+ year(s)) in a (corporate) legal environment

Thorough understanding of Italian law (private & public)

Ability and willingness to grasp business and technical related topics

Ability and willingness to grasp permit and funding related topics

Good communicator and able to provide consistency in communication

Set-up and follow-up on processes

Master’s degree in law from an Italian University

The ideal candidate would have a valid EU working permit and would be willing to relocate to Trieste in short notice. HHLA PLT Italy is part of HHLA Group, with over 6.400 employees worldwide.
