or follow @LyondellBasell on LinkedIn.Basic FunctionThe purpose of the job is provide all the Process Design Catalyst and Polymer, projects related plant start-up activities and technological assistance with reference to Catalyst and Polymer Manufacturing area in Ferrara To provide the execution of Process Design activities in the frame of Goalzero principles and culture and in compliance with legislation codes, Company standards and procedures, Operational Excellence standards also according to the best practice. Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvide Process Design Technical Support to catalyst and polymer plants in order to guarantee the proper practice and operability according to Company and legislation rules relevant to health, safety and environment.Execute all the Process Design activities needed for plant projects and modifications as required.
Work in team with Engineering and Maintenance and other departments involved, providing support and guidance. Provide that the Process Design is correctly implemented in the final plant modification.
Participate in HazOp / PHA analysis, plant pre-start-up checks, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities, including personnel training, in the frame of Management Of Change procedure. Provide the mutual and active collaboration among the area departments, Engineering and Maintenance, process technology and HSE functions in order to produce the documentation and provide assistance for training and mutual updating Coordinate the Process Design activities to scale-up the innovations developed within the Company from R&D or pilot scale to the manufacturing scale Identifies areas where innovation or improvement is required, proposes solutions and provides design and support for implementation within Catalyst and Polymer Manufacturing area. Design the process modifications required for new product development, quality improvement and plant productivity increase. Min. QualificationsEducation & Work Experience:
University Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Technical Degree and at least 3/5 years of experience in the field of Catalyst or Polymer Manufacturing (Operations preferred). Licenses & Certifications: Knowledge of Norms, Standards and Procedures relevant to Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
Languages: Technical English knowledge.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of Chemistry, Physics, and Chemical Engineering. Knowledge of Catalyst Manufacturing Processes.
