Calibration experimentation on diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric engines
Vehicle calibration
Combustion process definition (emissions, performance), safety and drivability
Diagnostic strategies / EOBD / Troubleshooting
Post-processing, after treatment
Vehicle test programming
Dataset analysis and calibration control
Coordination of release activities
Preparation of comprehensive reports and technical documentation
Requirements: Educational Background:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields
Experience:
Calibration experience on diesel/petrol/hybrid/electric engines, prior experience in engine experimentation and functional verification
Skills:
Diagnosis of anomalies from bench tests, in-vehicle or on track, knowledge of engines, After treatment and ATS systems
Tools:
Knowledge of tools such as ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, AVL Puma, AVL Concerto, Dianalyzer, CANdela, GT-Power. Knowledge of Matlab and Simulink is a plus
Language:
Good command of English

ALTEN Italia, working with major companies in the AUTOMOTIVE sector, is looking for Calibration Engineers with varying levels of experience, ranging from 6 months to 3 years. The selected candidate will be involved in automotive projects related to calibration, including calibration on diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric/HVAC/ADAS/On Board Diagnostic systems.Responsibilities:
