Lead the development and execution of Bloq.it's financial strategy, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives; Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency; Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and key stakeholders, contributing to decision-making processes and business planning initiatives, including in the expansion to new countries; Manage financial risk and optimize capital allocation, identifying opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and sustainable growth; Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including investors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities; Lead the finance team and drive process improvements by implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and scalability. What are the requirements to join us in this position
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred; Proven track record in senior high-level finance roles, preferably in high-growth technology or last mile companies; Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial principles, regulations, and industry trends; Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization; Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of translating complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations; Demonstrated experience in driving organizational change, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives; Excellent English and Portuguese communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner; Knowledge of Portuguese regulatory requirements and tax laws. Experience with international expansion and global financial operations, particularly in opening new countries; Proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and ERP systems.
