Among the European leaders in Enterprise Risk Management and Wealth & Asset Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a part-time Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team for a 6-month internship. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about learning how the Machine Learning pipeline works and supporting the most critical pillars of the pipeline like annotating, validating, and testing. Candidates will be placed in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) team with an entrepreneurship soul and a focus on not only financial institutions' digitalization processes but also cross-sectoral real-world applications. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Machine Learning model development activities (from feature engineering to model training and performance evaluation) Perform analytical tasks like algorithm design, implementation, validation, and testing Facilitate integration of the resulting system/software into an existing production environment Perform literature research, prepare presentations at both technical and marketing level Help training ML algorithms by doing annotations on the text, image, or tabular data Prepare gazetteers for natural language processing algorithms Willingness to multi-task, learn new technologies in a lean development environment PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Theoretical and practical knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms (Classification, Regression, Clustering, ...) Experience in building Machine Learning Pipelines from data collection to cleaning, model training/tuning, and performance evaluation. Proficiency and hands-on experience in coding with Python and commonly used libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc. Experience in relational SQL and NoSQL (Redis, Mongo DB, Cassandra) databases Experience in Linux/Unix operating systems SOFT SKILLS:

Skill to effectively present, describe and report on complex ideas and projects Good communication and team-working attitude Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and adhere to strict deadlines in a dynamic work environment WHAT WE OFFER:
