These are your tasks:

Continuous improvement of central IT security, among other things by carrying out / accompanying penetration tests and audits

Gathering information on and proactively communicating threat scenarios

Development of proposals to improve the level of IT security

Processing processes in the area of IT security, consulting and integration into various IT processes; this includes, in particular, the identification and communication of incidents within IT and to the municipal IT security and data protection officer as well as other affected parties, the initiation of appropriate measures, documentation and preservation of evidence in coordination with strategic IT security as well as the evaluation of incidents and damage events

Collaboration in the creation/updating of IT security concepts and IT security guidelines

Preparation / implementation of awareness-raising measures

Enforcement of security policies and procedures in central IT; this includes in particular initiating and supporting the design, documentation and implementation of the specifications of the relevant IT security requirements as well as reviewing implementation and effectiveness with documentation

This is your profile: You need one of the following qualifications for the job:

Bachelor's degree or diploma (FH) in computer science or business informatics or

Other qualifications (e.g. IT specialist [f/m/d]) with extensive relevant skills and experience and at least two years of relevant professional experience or

Civil servant (f/m/d) of the 3rd QE / in the higher civil service, career path natural sciences and technology, specializing in administrative informatics, or

Civil servant (f/m/d) of the 3rd QE / in the higher service, administration and finance career path, with at least three years of relevant professional experience and extensive relevant skills and experience, or

Administrative specialist (f/m/d) (Fachprüfung II) with at least three years of relevant professional experience and extensive relevant skills and experience

You also have:

In-depth knowledge of networks, operating systems (Windows, Linux, iOS) and current attack vectors

Experience in the field of IT security

Negotiating skills, initiative, assertiveness and the ability to work independently and on your own responsibility

Teamwork and communication skills as well as an open-minded and confident manner

Willingness to undergo further training and relevant English skills

High resilience and commitment (on-call duty and weekend duty if necessary)
