#IT , we want to hear from you WHAT WE LOOK FOR Acadmic degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (preferred). Proven experience in a SOC environment, with hands-on experience in incident response and remote support services. Familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and network security monitoring. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess and respond to security incidents. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or similar are a plus Ability to work in a multicultural team Proficiency level in English, both written and spoken Eligible for security clearance Availability to travel within Europe WHAT YOU WILL DO Provide security support services directly from the Galileo Control Centres located in Italy (GCC-I) and Germany (GCC-D) and create the operational link between GCC team and the GSMC/SOC. Cover the operations of the systems under GSMC operational responsibility deployed in the GCCs for security monitoring, network nodes administration and supporting digital forensics activities. The successful candidate will carry-out the following activities: Collaborate in creating and validating incident handling procedures for GCC and GSMC, including crisis scenarios per Council Decision. Support GCC SECMON activities, including investigations requested by GSMC, and operate the SECMON enclave in GCC as instructed. Resolve security incidents requiring ARB decisions and support SECMON implementation roadmap and validation activities. Increase GSMC’s system knowledge by accessing technical documentation and sharing within GSMC. Provide GCC authorizations to GSMC for changes in electronic security environment and enforce GSMC auditing responsibilities. Enhance quality of GSMC Security Reporting by accessing SPO inputs for weekly reports. Accelerate decision trigger points in GCC crisis procedures as per Council Decision. Facilitate GSMC/SOC Team participation in CLA meetings at GCC and provide reports on outcomes, supporting security audits affecting GSMC/SOC.
