Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toPlanning & Fulfillment ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory including sales in excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice; support internal customer service inquiries; set inventory parameters (MRP), support organization in reaching inventory targets, and ensure adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders. Contribute to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory and forecast accuracy supported by lean tools whenever applicable and collaboration with the different stakeholders in the end-to-end Supply Chain. You will report to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager.

This role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions Division within Electrification Business Area in Dalmine (BG).

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Calculate and maintain in the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory parameters: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies • Collaborate with Buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead-time, and flexibility. • Manage MRP (Materials Resource Planning) exception messages on a daily basis; support cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting. • Conducts financial risk assessments decisions relating to inventory, conducts root case analysis when necessary • Analyze excess and obsolete/aging inventory; take appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing and Procurement and Logistics. • Release purchase orders, addresses Material Requirement Planner (MRP) action messages, expedite parts and manage quick ship request, communicate and expedite material issues. • Be responsible for stock profile and segments the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy, defining inventory policies according to this segmentation.

Qualifications for the role Master Degree in Management Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular on Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of SAP and data analysis tools (Power BI or similar) are considered a plus.
