to work for our well-known industrial client, on-site at ASI (Agenzia Spaziale Italiana) premises in the city of Matera, Italy. You will join the Operations Engineering Service in the frame of an exciting Satellite constellation project, managed from the Italian Space Agency (ASI) site. The service will cover: Support for Operations Preparation. Contribution to Operations Validation. Deployment of Operations from Launch / Early Orbit phase to Commissioning phase. And, possibly, the execution of Operations during the routine phase. About the location

The scope of work will include: Support to preparation and validation of Ground Operations Procedures related to Ground Segment sub-systems involved in Payload Data Management; Handling and management of Ground Operations Procedures during operations execution; Monitoring of the acquisition requests and production orders for products generation based on User queries; Controlling and handling the X-band and S-band data; Managing the data during the reception, archive and distribution phases; Monitoring and keeping record of incidents, ensuring adequate anomaly root cause analysis and problem resolution in support to the on-site operations team; Support to contribution and preparation of Ground Segment AIV and System Operational Validation. Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience are mandatory: University Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering domain (Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunication, IT, Computer or Data Sciences etc.). Knowledge of SAR payloads and relative Ground Segment sub-systems. Knowledge of Ground Station baseband units. Knowledge of SAR data management. Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment. Solution-providing mindset, with a customer-oriented communication skills. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Italian is an asset. Why should you apply?
