In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day and we need you as a Regional Environmental Compliance Program Manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.As a Regional Environmental Compliance Program Manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, you will be managing the full spectrum of regulatory environmental requirements, including Federal, State, and local regulations with emphasis on air, water, waste management and water quality permitting, with a fundamental understanding of environmental management systems. Additionally, you will identify environmental aspects and ensure Microsoft data centers remain in full compliance, communicate these requirements to all stakeholders and senior management, and provide training online and/or in person. This opportunity will allow you to actively participate in a dynamic, challenging, and exciting environment. You will be working independently in-region and will represent Microsoft to our external and internal customers. This position requires you to work on location, in one of our data centers in the Europe, Middle East or Africa (EMEA) region, with occasional travel to other locations.

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a Regional Environmental Compliance Program Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Bachelor's Degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND 6+ years experience in Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide RegulationsOR equivalent experience.Background Check Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:6+ years of combined experience in environmental permitting and compliance management in EMEA.Experience with Enhesa, Regscan, EIA Tracker, Enablon, Intelex or similar tools.#COICAREERSMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
