Job Description SummaryAt Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation. As Sourcing Compliance and Transformation Specialist you will be part of the Sourcing team and work to improve the Sourcing processes through the application of Lean principles and ensure that these processes are aligned with company Policies and Procedures.You will work with Sourcing teams to identify opportunity to reduce nonvalue added activities, to standardize and simplify leveraging best practices and lessons learned, still guaranteeing compliance with our policies. You will support Sourcing Commodities and other Sourcing departments in all compliance related aspect of Procurement activities: PO review, Supplier Onboarding, US Government, Third Party Audit, ITC, Sourcing Instruction and Procedure issue and update.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesSupport Lean Activities inside Sourcing: kaizen events, Action Work OutDrive standardization and simplification activitiesSpread and strengthen Lean Culture across Sourcing organizationBe responsible of Procurement Manual that includes guidelines, best practices, recommendations, and mandatory requirements of Procurement processMaintain updated Procurement Manual Procedures and will ensure its integration with the Quality Management System (QMS) documents and alignment with GE Aerospace documentsIssue, review, update QMS documents related to Sourcing activities as neededPerform Internal audit to verify compliance of Sourcing personnel practices with Procurement Manual and QMS documentationPrepare and keep updated Sourcing Roles training plan together with HR teamPrepare and provide training on Procurement Manual and Quality Management System to Sourcing personnelQualifications/RequirementsMaster Degree in engineering or technical fieldsSolid experience in Quality/Sourcing areasStrong communication (oral and written) skills, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel skillsEffective problem solving skillsTeamwork abilitiesFluent in oral and written English and ItalianWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsKnowledge of QMS structure and documents and main aerospace regulation (AS9100, AQAP2310, etc.)Knowledge of Lean principlesRisk oriented approachRigorous and accurate in her/his tasksStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritizeLateral thinking, looking for alternative solutionsHumble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learnTransparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructivelyFocused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committedLeadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborativeProblem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinkerWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
