The company has grown constantly over the years, thanks to the dedication with which customer needs have always been at the heart of the quality of its products and to the considerable investments in Research & Development, supported by a management capable of looking to the future.Position InformationDatalogic is offering a Global Commodity Manager Electronics role, reporting to the Head of Global Commodity Management.This role will direct the procurement function to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost, and within the policies and guidelines established by management.Responsible for cost, quality and delivery performance of the Electronics Commodity.Role MissionThe Global Commodity Manager Electronics is responsible for cost, quality and delivery performance of the Electronics Commodity.Key ResponsibilitiesDefines strategies for assigned categories basing on technology needs and new product road map; Defines and manages Strategic Development for the categoriesCost analysis and reportingScouting of New Suppliers / New TechnologyCommodity expert monitoring market trends and key player evolutionsNegotiates and monitors Business Terms: Contract, Prices, Payments, Logistics, Flex Stock, ToolsManages supplier base for the assigned categoriesDevelops and manages vendor relations through an improvement planResponsible for the vendor scorecardIdentifies additional partnership opportunitiesResponsible for business management with the vendor (service problem solving, quality, etc.)Qualifications / RequirementsEducation: Bachelors' degree in EngineeringLanguages: Italian, English Fluent Experience: 4 - 8 years in a similar role.Other Informations and Specific Skills:Solid technical knowledge of electronics components and ability to interact technically with R&D team;Capability to define and implement commodity strategies;Knowledge of electronic semiconductors market;Competence in contract and supplier agreements - Analysis and reporting skills;Excellent team player and collaborative style in an international environment;Strong excel skills ;
