. As a Jr. Electronics Production Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the production of electronic components for Bloq.it smart lockers, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient manufacturing processes. What will be your responsibilities
Support the design and development of electric solutions for electronic and smart products, applying electrical/electronic engineering principles, techniques, procedures while actively participating in our production team; Utilize SolidWorks Electrical and/or other CAD tools (EPLAN) to assist in creating detailed and accurate 2D Electrical Schematics and 3D models, considering manufacturing constraints and product requirements; Play a role in the prototyping and testing phases, learning about different solutions, electronic assembly, and manufacturing processes to ensure designs are feasible for mass production and they meet the necessary specifications and requirements; Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, project management, and notably, the supply chain team to ensure a seamless design-to-production process; Engage in user-centered design activities, learning to incorporate user research and feedback into the design process; Contribute to problem-solving within the development phase, adopting a proactive approach to identify potential issues and learning to develop solutions; Focus on creating comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, manuals, bill of materials (BOM) and deployment documents, crucial for both internal processes and end-user understanding. What are the requirements to join us in this position
In-depth understanding of electrical principles, circuits, components, and systems, with a particular interest in smart products; Technical proficiency in electrical engineering disciplines to provide guidance and review of products Must-have proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical and/or other CAD tools (EPLAN) for creating electrical schematics and assembly drawings; An eagerness to learn about developing, testing and troubleshooting, research for best suitable electronic/electric components and manufacturing processes, especially in electronic assemblies and integration; Commitment to seeking opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and quality enhancement in electronics production is essential for driving continuous improvement initiatives; Excellent collaboration and communication skills, essential for working effectively within the Sub-contractors and our production team and collaborating with other teams, like supply chain team, support team, logistics, marketing, etc; A proactive mindset and problem-solving skills with a “figure-it-out-and-get-it-done” approach, focused on identifying and creatively solving development and production challenges; Strong documentation skills, with an emphasis on creating detailed documentation to support both production and end-user needs; Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory compliance, and environmental directives, and experience on integrating these standards into production processes; Knowledge of sustainable practices and materials to create environmentally responsible designs; Competency in managing projects using industry-standard methodologies related to electronics production, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management, ensuring efficient progress and effective cross-team communication.
