Description: Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Electrical Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples, IT.

Accountabilities:

Develop, integrate, and document electric design using computer-aided engineering tools.

Able to sizing electrical lines with optimization of equipment cabling to reduce assembly time.

Analysis of specifications identifying details that discern a working plan of the customer starting from the information provided and elaborating the feasibility.

Definition of the conceptual solution and architecture of the Electrical System, based on the requirements and vehicle configuration.

Verification and traceability of requirements using DOORS.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

Proven electrical design experience in electromechanical industries (preferred Railway Domain).

Excellent readiness of Electrical schematic and drawings.

Knowledge of computer-aided electrical engineering tools (preferred SEE Electrical).

Education/Qualifications: Degree in Electrical / Electrotechnical Engineering;

Languages: Good knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory. English language knowledge on at least international C1 level.
