Milan World School is seeking a Primary School Teacher to join our international teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, student-centred learning experiences within a collaborative and inquiry-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Curriculum Development & Delivery Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the UK, Ontario, and Italian curricula Apply an inquiry-based and experiential approach that supports independent thinking and problem-solving Promote interdisciplinary learning that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and conceptual understanding Classroom Management & Learning Environment Create and maintain a well-organised, safe, and stimulating classroom environment Establish routines and expectations that promote responsibility, respect, and student agency Use classroom displays and learning materials to reinforce key concepts and celebrate student work Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring Observe, document, and assess student progress to inform instruction and support differentiated learning Provide clear, constructive feedback to students Communicate progress to families through reports and conferences in line with school practices Support the academic and emotional development of learners through inclusive teaching strategies Professional Conduct & Collaboration Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and accountability in all aspects of the role Collaborate with colleagues to plan, reflect, and continuously improve teaching and learning Participate actively in staff meetings, school events, professional development, and reflective practice Learning Design & Student Engagement Design meaningful projects that integrate inquiry, real-world connections, and multiple intelligences Encourage student voice, ownership, and collaboration with peers and the wider community Incorporate literature, technology, nature, and the arts to enrich the curriculum Requirements Recognised qualification in Primary Education Experience teaching in a primary school setting Strong classroom management and collaboration skills Fluency in English Eligibility to work in Italy Milan World School is committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
