Commercial Bunker
Saras is seeking a Commercial Bunker with 2–5 years of experience in marine fuels trading to strengthen its commercial team. The successful candidate will support the development and management of bunker commercial activities across the Mediterranean region, working within an international environment and in close collaboration with the Vitol global network.
The role involves frequent engagement with international counterparts and regular business travel, including regular visits to Vitol’s London headquarters and customer locations.
Manage commercial bunker activities within the Mediterranean market
develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with shipowners, operators, brokers, and key stakeholders
monitor market trends, price dynamics, opportunities, and commercial risks
negotiate commercial terms and support the full commercial lifecycle in coordination with internal teams (operations, risk, finance)
contribute to the development of business opportunities within the Vitol network
2–5 years of experience in bunker trading or a comparable commercial role in shipping/oil trading
~ degree in Economics or Engineering with an excellent academic record, preferably in an analytical discipline
~ fluency in English is required; knowledge of Italian and other languages will be considered an advantage but is not essential
~ willingness to travel internationally
