Conio is the Milan-based scale-up, partly owned by Poste Italiane and Banca Generali, that created the first multi-sig Bitcoin wallet in Italy. With the mission of making Bitcoin and digital assets accessible to everyone, we developed a 2-of-3 multi-signature wallet and a patented fund recovery system.

To expand our Tech team we are looking for a Backend Software Developer passionate about Bitcoin and digital assets. Your impact The candidate will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current backend applications and processes. The Backend Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users. Responsibilities Help designing and implementing extremely high-volume, fault-tolerant, scalable systems Be hands-on in building and developing key core infrastructure components Put in place best security and test automation practices to ensure product quality Your skills We have the perfect job for you, if you have these

skills:
~ BS in Computer Science or a similar technical degree, or equivalent practical experience ~5+ years of software development experience ~ Strong experience with Object Oriented Design principles ~ Strong experience with microservices architecture ~ Strong experience with both relational databases (PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., Redis, DynamoDB) ~ Experience with message queueing systems (e.g., Kafka) ~ Working knowledge of Docker and containerization ~ Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English Nice to have Furthermore, you are the ideal candidate if: Comfortable with Python 3 Familiarity with Python testing frameworks Experience with event-driven microservice applications Experience with Amazon Web Services Experience with eventually consistent architectures (e.g., CQRS) Knowledge of Domain-Driven-Design and Event Sourcing Passion for Bitcoin/Blockchain development and new cryptography technologies
