We are looking for a Scala Developer Freelance for a fintech company specializing in structured investment products and insurance solutions. It is a technology and service provider in the financial sector, offering a leading digital marketplace for structured products.
In this role, you will develop its state-of-the-art technology platform that helps financial institutions create and distribute structured investment products. You will work closely with business to gather and understand requirements, and deliver high quality solutions.

You will contribute to software and architectural design decisions, strongly collaborating with your colleagues
You will the possibility to express yourself, writing efficient, reliable, clean and thoroughly tested code, suitable to run in a continuous integration and deployment environment
You will work closely with your team’s Engineering Lead and Product Manager to design upcoming projects for the team
Fluent in English (B2+)

Experience with Typelevel stack (Cats-Effect, Doobie)
Experience working with microservices architectures, event streaming systems and cloud providers is also preferred. Kubernetes and AWS knowledge is a plus.
Comfortable working in remote-friendly teams distributed between multiple locations.
A good understanding of Agile methodologies, their principles and their ceremonies.

Mode of work: full remote, in Italian time zone (CET)
