On behalf of our Client a global pharmaceutical company, IQVIA is looking for an Accountant & Controller who can join an exciting working environment in a dynamic atmosphere.

The position will be based in our Milan office.

As part of the company’s growth and further professionalization, we are now looking for an experienced, proactive and team-oriented Accountant & Controller to support the Finance Director Italy and our developing team.
Support of the Finance Director Italy
General ledger accounting in SAP
Takeover of accounts payable (including invoice processing in Coupa)
Commercial control of (travel) expense reports in Concur
Management of accounts receivable (due date monitoring, dunning letters)
Release and monitoring of customer orders
Support with annual planning and forecasts
Preparation of analyses and reports
Monthly and annual financial statements support
Generating, monitoring, revising of purchase orders and exception forms
Close collaboration with the external accounting company and joint solution of invoicing problems, including direct contact to the suppliers.
Special project support

Accounting degree or business degree
Experience in financial accounting in a medium-sized company (ideally in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry)
First experience in controlling (financial planning, ad hoc analyses and reports)
Efficient and effective verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
Advanced experience with MS Excel and first experience with SAP (FI). Ability to work independently with high focus on target groups and a pro-active approach to deliver high-quality results
TYPE OF CONTRACT:
Temporary contract, starting with 12 months contract.
