Fabrication Engineer

Vernay Italia is looking for a New Product Development Engineer for its location in Asti.
Reporting to the NPD Engineering Manager you will lead projects during the comprehensive development phase.
You will be responsible for creating and agreeing upon a project plan in line with objectives. Simultaneously with the development phase, you will also design the production process.
You will bridge the gap between customer needs and internal operations, ensuring a correct and timely handover to the Operations department.
The role, market, and work environment are dynamic, and you will work on diverse, highly varied projects in different development phases.
Success requires a persistent and strong personality capable of managing projects in a structured manner. Ultimately responsible for delivering technical projects
International customer communication regarding project planning, progress, and technical content
Maintaining project administration and documentation

A completed technical education at least at a bachelor’s level (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a comparable field); additional education in Lean Six Sigma is a plus
A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a technical project environment within an (internationally operating) industrial company
Experience in automotive industry (ISO/TS 16949) or medical industry (ISO 13485).
A persuasive and proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ambition to work in a role that demands strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent command of English; knowledge of German is an advantage
