We have partnered with a leading Italian Nutraceutical Ingredient Manufacturer to recruit for a Global Business Development Manager – (Remote with International Travel). This strategic commercial role is responsible for expanding global market presence, building partnerships with top nutraceutical brands, and driving the commercial success of a highly innovative bioactives portfolio.
As Global Business Development Manager, you will shape international sales strategy, open new markets, and position the company’s science-backed bioactives across dietary supplements, functional foods, beauty-from-within, and health & wellness categories.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Nutrition, or related field; 7–12+ years of global commercial experience in nutraceuticals, bioactives, natural extracts, or health ingredients.
~ Strong track record of securing partnerships with supplement brands, contract manufacturers, or functional food companies.
~ Deep understanding of the global nutraceutical landscape, including regulatory trends and market dynamics.
~ Experience managing distributors, agents, and multi-region customer networks.
~ Strong international negotiation skills and proven ability to drive strategic commercial initiatives.
~ Fluent in English; Italian proficiency is a strong plus.
Develop and execute a global business development strategy to expand market reach across Europe, North America, APAC, and LATAM.
Identify and secure new business with supplement brands, formulators, and innovation-driven CPG companies.
Lead commercial presentations, value-proposition development, and solution-based selling for bioactive ingredients.
Collaborate closely with R&D, regulatory, and marketing to support customer projects and product launches.
Monitor global market trends, competitive activity, and emerging scientific opportunities.
