🌥️ Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect – Freelance Opportunity (Turin / Milan)👤 Must be based in Italy – No sponsorship available We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect to join an exciting long‑term project with a major enterprise client in Turin . If you thrive in complex cloud environments, love designing scalable architectures, and enjoy taking technical leadership, this role is for you. This position is open to freelancers and offers a hybrid work model with 2 days per week onsite in Turin . 🔧 What You’ll Do As a Cloud Engineer / Architect, you will: Design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures for enterprise‑scale environments Lead technical decisions and guide project teams on cloud best practices Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions Contribute to cloud modernization initiatives and infrastructure automation 🎯 Required Skills & Experience Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering , or related field 5+ years of experience in the IT industry with strong focus on cloud and distributed systems 2+ years as a Technical Leader and/or Project Manager on cloud projects Fluent in English (C1) and Italian (C1)✨ Nice-to-Have Skills Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, etc.) Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases Knowledge of datacenter networking: IP, VLAN, VxLAN, BGP Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies 🛠️ Technical Expertise Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (design & development) Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java Solid understanding of DevOps / GitOps practices and cloud automation 📍 Work Setup Location: Turin (customer site) / Milan (company base) Onsite Requirement: 2 days per week in Turin Remote Work: Not available Contract Type: Freelance Sensitive Data: No 🚀 Why Join This Project?
